The local authorities we work with sometimes refer clients to us with literally a couple of hours’ notice, so we are experts in putting care services in place very quickly. However, it usually takes 2-3 days to clarify your exact care needs, sort out paperwork and any funding issues and then allocate and introduce you to your careworker.
